Pernah nonton film Gie? Pertama kali nonton, (waktu itu ditayangkan di TV, hehe, nomat gitu lho!) selain terpesona sama tokoh Soe Hok Gie yang dalam film itu diperankan oleh Nicholas Saputra, setting ceritanya yang kuno, aku juga sempat kagum sama salah satu soundtrack-nya, Donna Donna, yang dibawakan oleh Sita RSD yang dalam film itu juga dapat peran pembantu wanita.
Menurut sebuah sumber, lagu itu memang cukup terkenal di era 60-an. Penyanyinya terkenal sebagai musisi yang anti perang, siapa lagi kalau bukan Joan Baez. Dia pernah mendatangi ranch Bush di Texas dan mendapat sorotan dunia.
